Logging doses with Siri

After taking your medication, say “Hey Siri, DoseDo taken” to log it without opening the app. It works on a locked iPhone, with AirPods and on Apple Watch. These also work:

Which doses does it log?

The doses due within an hour of when you speak, either side. If the nearest dose is further away, Siri asks whether you took it before logging anything, so a dose is never marked taken by mistake. Saying it twice does nothing the second time.

Siri asks “Do you want to turn it on?”

The first time you use DoseDo with Siri, iOS asks whether DoseDo can work with Siri. Say yes. It only asks once.

Siri asks whether to use Health or DoseDo

Apple’s Health app can log medications too, so a phrase like “I took my meds” can sound like either. Choose DoseDo, or start with the app’s name, as in “DoseDo taken”, and Siri won’t need to ask.

Will Siri say my medication names out loud?

No. Siri only mentions the time a dose was due, such as “Logged your 8:00 AM doses”, so nobody nearby hears what you take.
